1. What this service is

TextPolishAI is a text-editing service. You paste a draft; the service returns a polished version with more natural rhythm and plainer wording. It is a tool for editing writing that you authored or that you have the right to edit.

2. Acceptable use — read this one

You agree not to use this service to commit or facilitate academic misconduct, including submitting work that is not your own, or disguising the authorship of work where authorship matters (examinations, assignments, applications, attestations). You also agree not to use it for fraud, impersonation, spam at scale, or producing deceptive content intended to mislead readers about matters of fact.

Editing your own drafts is the intended use and is always acceptable here.

3. What we do not promise

We do not promise any result from any detector, checker, review board, admissions process, employer process or other third-party evaluation, and no statement on this site should be read as such a promise. You are responsible for what you submit, publish or send, and for complying with the rules of your institution, employer and jurisdiction.

4. Word balances and payments

Word packs are one-time purchases. One word of input costs one word of balance, charged only when a rewrite succeeds. Purchased words do not expire. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments; words are credited to your account when payment succeeds. Words that were charged for but never delivered will be credited or refunded on request. Words already spent on successful rewrites are not refundable.

5. Your content

Your drafts remain yours. You grant us only the limited permission needed to process them (including sending them to our rewriting provider) and return the result. We do not sell your text and we do not use it to train models.

6. Availability and changes

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The rewriting engine depends on third-party providers and may occasionally be unavailable; failed rewrites are never charged. We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability arising from the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
